ALF WALLANDER
Alf Wallander was born in
Stockholm on 11 October 1862. He started his artistic
career as a painter. From the mid-1890s he ws designer
at the
Rörstrand porcelain factory. He was an
important practitioner of Art Nouveau.
Wallander visited Venice on more
than one occasion. See below for three of his Venice
paintings.
Wallander died on 29
September 1914.
